About Quadmix
Quadmix is a compounded injectable for erectile dysfunction that combines the three Trimix ingredients — papaverine, phentolamine and alprostadil — with atropine. It is prescribed when Trimix alone is not effective enough or causes too much discomfort, since atropine adds a further smooth-muscle relaxant. Like Trimix it is a sterile preparation drawn from a multi-dose vial and injected in tiny volumes measured in units on an insulin syringe, so the prescription must state each ingredient's concentration. Quadmix needs a prescription, sterile compounding, refrigerated shipping, and prescriber training on dosing because of the risk of prolonged erection.
