Most EHR e-prescribing screens were built for manufactured drugs with an NDC, which is why compounded prescriptions end up as truncated free text, faxes and phone calls. Compounding Finder gives verified prescribers a structured compounded-prescription composer: search the medication, see the formulations pharmacies in the network actually make, write any custom compound, sign it electronically, and we route it to licensed compounding pharmacies for quotes. Your patient chooses the pharmacy; the signed prescription is released to that pharmacy only.

Your request is routed to FDA-registered 503B outsourcing facilities, which can supply office stock without patient-specific prescriptions.

In a March 2026 KFF poll, 27% of U.S. adults said cost kept them from filling a prescription in the past year. A price your patient can afford is a prescription they fill and keep filling.
