Bioidentical Hormones
Hormones molecularly identical to those the body produces — used in menopausal HRT, andropause / TRT, and adrenal support protocols.
About Bioidentical Hormones
Bioidentical hormones are structurally identical to endogenous human hormones, in contrast to synthetic analogs like conjugated equine estrogens or medroxyprogesterone. Compounding pharmacies prepare bioidentical estradiol, estriol, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA, and pregnenolone in custom strengths and delivery forms — creams, troches, capsules, pellets, and injectables — to match individualized HRT and TRT protocols. Biest (a compounded mix of estriol and estradiol, usually 80/20) is one of the most common bioidentical preparations in menopausal care.
