CompoundingFinder.com ("CompoundingFinder," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of your health-related information. This Notice of Privacy Practices ("Notice") describes how we collect, use, and protect information you provide when using our platform, and explains your rights with respect to that information.
CompoundingFinder.com is an independent price comparison platform that helps patients find and compare pricing for compounded medications from licensed U.S. compounding pharmacies. We are not a healthcare provider, health plan, or health insurance company. We are not a HIPAA-covered entity. However, because we handle health-related information on your behalf, we voluntarily adopt this Notice to be transparent about our practices.
When you submit a quote request, we collect: your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, the medication(s) you are seeking, dosage and form preferences, any health conditions or notes you voluntarily provide (such as MCAS or other sensitivities), and delivery preferences. This information is collectively referred to as your "Request Information."
Your medication and clinical details (dosage, form, quantity, health notes) are shared with licensed compounding pharmacies in our network solely to obtain pricing quotes on your behalf. Your personal contact information — including your name, email, and phone number — is never shared with any pharmacy until: (1) you review all quotes, (2) you select a pharmacy you wish to proceed with, and (3) you provide explicit written consent to connect with that pharmacy for the purpose of finalizing your order.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We share your Request Information only in the following limited circumstances: (a) With licensed compounding pharmacies — medication/clinical details only, for quoting purposes, never your personal contact info; (b) With the pharmacy you select — your full contact information, only after your explicit consent to proceed; (c) As required by law — if we are legally compelled to disclose information, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you first where permitted.
You have the right to: (a) Access — request a copy of the information we hold about you; (b) Correction — ask us to correct any inaccurate information; (c) Deletion — request that we delete your information from our records; (d) Withdrawal of Consent — withdraw your consent to connect with a pharmacy at any time before your contact information has been shared; (e) Questions — contact us at any time with questions about how your information is handled. We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to contact us immediately at contact@compoundingfinder.com if you believe your information may have been compromised.
We retain your Request Information for as long as necessary to fulfill your quote request and for a reasonable period thereafter for record-keeping and compliance purposes. You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us at contact@compoundingfinder.com.
CompoundingFinder is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately and we will take prompt steps to delete it.
We may update this Notice from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Notice periodically. Continued use of CompoundingFinder following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Notice.
